NEW YORK (AP) - Wynn Resorts Ltd. is hiring an executive from rival casino operator Harrah's Entertainment Inc. to replace the outgoing head of Wynn Las Vegas, who officially resigned over the weekend, according to a securities filing made Monday.
The company is replacing Andrew Pascal, who is stepping
Spiegel, 58, is a 22-year veteran of Harrah's, serving most recently as regional president of Bally's, Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
Wynn Resorts said in its filing that it has no disagreements with Pascal, but it did not say why he decided to resign.
The company did not immediately return messages seeking comment.
