Competing against nearly 800 entries from printing and graphic arts firms from the state, Lake of the Torches Resort & Casino and Graphic Composition, Inc. received the following awards:
Award of Excellence for the Money Talks Direct Mail Postcard
Award of Excellence for the 2009 Direct Mail Postcard
Award of Excellence for the Warm Hand Warm Hearts Employee Carton
Award of Excellence for the Self-Mailing Fiesta Box
Certificate of Merit for the Variable Printed Trucks and Bucks Direct Mail Postcard
The GEAs recognize those advertising agencies and printing companies responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Wisconsin. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.

In addition, this past summer Michael J. Broderick and the marketing team he leads were recognized with a record number of seven Romero Awards, the casino marketing industry's equivalent to the Oscars.
