MONTVILLE, Conn., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- An accused trafficker in prostitution has been caught at a Connecticut casino, state police said.
State police casino detectives told the Hartford Courant they spotted An Soon Kim on the gaming floor of Mohegan Sun's Casino of the Earth Friday. Casino staffers had alerted police that she was
Authorities had been on the lookout for Kim since a slot manager recognized her on "America's Most Wanted" Dec. 9, state police said.
She was wanted on federal charges including human trafficking, coercion and enticement to prostitution and transporting illegal aliens.
Kim was handed over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, state police said Monday.
"America's Most Wanted" accused her of smuggling Korean women into the country for prostitution, giving them false papers and threatening to take the paperwork away to trap them.
None of the crimes occurred in Connecticut, Lt. J. Paul Vance said.
