The last few years have brought big construction projects to Southern California’s casinos. In that regard, 2020 wasn’t very different from prior years, but there was the added variable of coronavirus.

Like Southern California, Las Vegas has seen the opening of some projects delayed by the novel coronavirus but it looks like 2021 will still be a big year for Sin City. Some projects are scheduled to debut this year while others will see major construction progress. Read more.

Also in Las Vegas, Developer Lorenzo Doumani announced Monday that he plans to break ground on Majestic Las Vegas, a 720-room luxury hotel off the north strip, in July. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has more. Read more.
