The Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs is reopening its buffet after a lengthy closure for renovation.
Customers will see the new Oasis Buffet on Thanksgiving Day, according to the resort. It will serve holiday fare, including roast turkey, stuffing, green beans almandine, and dessert, plus leg of lamb, ham, prime rib, Asian dishes and pastas, according to its website.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 23, the buffet will be open for lunch 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The price will be $9.99.
Dinner will be served 4-8 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 4-9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday for $14.99.
The buffet will serve breakfast 7-10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday for $10.99. Brunch follows at 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. The price is $24.99.
The buffet is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
The daily menu will include burgers, pizza, tacos, pasta, salads and Asian dishes, according to the website. Desserts will include ice cream sundaes and root beer floats.
During the renovation, the casino had been serving its buffet in its Cascade Lounge across the gaming floor from the Oasis Buffet.
Since the casino opened in a tent in the mid-1990s, it has undergone several transformations. In 2014, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians closed the hotel and spa across the street, to be replaced by a cultural center in 2020. The casino replaced its parking lot with an enclosed parking structure in 2017.
Spa Resort Casino is at 401 E. Amado Road, Palm Springs.
