NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Casino boats are one step closer to sailing in and out of North Charleston.
The proposal now moves to the public safety committee for approval after the city council approved the first reading of the measure last night.
The public safety meeting will be held next week. The proposal would allow gambling boats to leave from the old Navy
The boats could be operating as early as December leaving from the Cooper River waterfront.
