Soaring Eagle Casino will present country stars Pam Tillis and Collin Raye at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29. Tillis, daughter of country legend Mell Tillis and multi-media artist Doris Tillis, long ago cemented her own place in show business, as a singer/songwriter whose works have been covered by country, R&B, bluegrass and rock performers. The 2022 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame nominee made her debut as a singer more than 30 years ago with her 1991 country album, “Put Yourself In My Place,” which went gold and yielded two No. 1 singles. Her next three albums – “Homeward Looking Angel,” “Sweetheart’s Dance” and “Greatest Hits,” were all certified platinum.
