PEDNLETON, Ore. — Wildhorse Resort and Casino announced Wednesday that they’ve cancelled the 2021 Wildhorse Pow Wow, which celebrates cultural tradition, spirituality, and competition.
This is the second year in a row the event has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“It takes a lot of people to run this three-day event and right now we have to do our part to keep the community safe and that means holding off until 2022,” said Wildhorse event and entertainment manager Juliana Luke.
The 2021 Wildhorse Pow Wow was scheduled to take place July 2-4.
According to a press release, the event usually draws a crowd of 6,000 people to the area.
