Another casino robbery sparks warning - ABC Online

Police are investigating a fourth attack on a Burswood Casino patron.

Another Burswood Casino patron has been robbed after leaving the venue, prompting a warning from police.

Police say the 77-year-old woman left the casino early this morning, arriving at her Midvale home shortly after 5:00am.

Three men grabbed her handbag while she was in her driveway.

Police believe the men followed the woman home from the casino.

It is the fourth such incident in less than a week and police believe they are linked.

In the past five days, a 49-year-old woman from Fremantle, a 63-year-old from Cannington and a 68-year old from Wanbro were also robbed near their homes after leaving the casino.

Police are warning older women to be on the alert when leaving the premises.
