Vancouver police have arrested three men accused of robbing casino patrons out of a substantial sum of money.
Inspector Les Yeo, the officer in charge of the force's operations investigation section, told reporters on Monday that the three men were arrested following an incident in the early hours of Nov. 2.

No one was injured but Insp. Yeo said the suspects fled the scene with a sizeable amount of money. He declined to comment on exactly how much cash was taken.
Officers recovered forensic material from the scene and Insp. Yeo said the men were arrested the next day, after they allegedly targeted another casino patron for robbery.
“Being able to prevent a crime and arrest people who are about to commit a crime are two things we take great pride in,” Insp. Yeo said during a news conference at the Vancouver department's headquarters.
Brothers Daniel Sheng Long Hoong, 20, and William Wei Lun Hoong, 18, have been charged with multiple counts, including robbery with a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. A third man, 30-year-old Yan Wang, faces similar charges.
Insp. Yeo wouldn't say how the alleged victims were selected.
The men were arrested inside their vehicle as they allegedly followed another casino patron. A search of that vehicle turned up two handguns, which police say were replicas.
Officers are investigating to see if the three men are linked to any other recent robberies.
