Lawmakers in Connecticut are looking at a gambling expansion bill, which comes a year after approving another tribal casino to be build on the Massachusetts border.
The General Assembly Public Safety and Security Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on the bill this Tuesday.
Some legislators want to allow tribes and non-tribal developers to submit proposal for a new casino, which would be the first on non-tribal lands, possibly located in Bridgeport.
