Guests can relax in the new hotel and spa at del Lago Resort & Casino this Saturday, two weeks sooner than initially expected, according to reports.
The hotel and spa at the gambling destination off the New York State Thruway in Seneca County was originally scheduled to open July 14.
The hotel connected to the casino features 205 rooms and Spa del Lago. The European-style spa offers massages and body treatments and a full-service salon with three relaxation areas--men's, women's and coed.
All of the rooms feature a refrigerator, free wifi, a coffee maker, hair dryer, Frette Italian robes for guests to use during their stay, as well as Frette linens and bedding.
Rates for a room with a king-sized or two queen-sized beds are $398.99 on a Saturday night, according to the hotel's website. A king or queen room with a balcony is an additional $50 per night. You can save 10 percent if you book 21 days in advance. Rates are lower on weekdays compared to weekends.
The del Lago Resort & Casino opened in February. It seems to be boosting tourism in Seneca County. Almost a quarter of the visitors staying at Seneca County hotels in the first three months of 2017 reported they came for the new casino.
