Hundreds of lined up in Bettendorf to celebrate the opening to a new $60 million land-based casino.
The Quad-City Times reports that the Isle Casino Hotel opened its doors on Friday morning.
The Isle riverboat casino closed Sunday evening so equipment could be moved to the new 35,000-square-foot casino floor that is snuggled in between the Isle's two hotel towers.
The new land-based casino offers 1,000 slot machines and 19 table games.
The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission approved the plans for the new casino in April 2015.
