Police say a man is in custody after opening fire inside the Potawatomi casino in Milwaukee.
Authorities say the 38-year-old man pulled a handgun from his pocket and started shooting about 2:30 a.m. Friday. Police say no one was hit by the gunfire, but several patrons were injured when they fell while trying to flee.
Potawatomi Hotel and Casino issued a statement saying the shots were fired on the gaming floor.
Police say the suspect went to another area of the casino. Officers arrived and with the help of security guards the man was taken into custody. Investigators say a handgun has been confiscated.
