New plan for stalled Foxwoods Casino

PHILADELPHIA -- Local investors in the stalled Foxwoods Casino will try again to persuade state gaming regulators on a revival plan, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The

new plan includes a deal with Harrah's Entertainment who will both invest in the project and operate the casino, the Philadelphia Inquirer report said.

Steve Wynn abruptly withdrew from negotiations on the same casino project earlier in the year, the report mentioned.

Discussions with the Pennsylvania Gaming Board should commence Wednesday, including trying to persuade the Gaming Board not to revoke the license of the planned property, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
