The search continues for a man who robbed Wild Horse Pass Casino on Saturday, police said Monday.
The man approached a cash cage at the casino outside Chandler shortly before 11 a.m. and handed the cashier a handwritten note demanding money, said a Gila River police spokeswoman Officer Caroline Brown.
The man threatened the cashier by acting as if he had a gun inside his shirt, police said. He fled the casino with an unknown amount of cash, running to the Phoenix Premium Outlets south of Pecos Road along Interstate 10, according to police.
The robber is described as a Black male, 190 to 210 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, possibly having a thin mustache, and wearing a blue button-down shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a dark-colored Ralph Lauren brand baseball cap with a white polo emblem on the front and white "3" on the side. After he fled on foot to the outlets, the man drove away is a dark blue, four-door sedan, police said.
