A late-night casino trip for two friends ended with one friend holding up the other Wednesday night, according to North College Hill police.
Police received a call just before midnight from a man saying he was robbed at gunpoint on Betts Avenue.
The man told police his friend Nicky Phifer pointed a black, semi-automatic gun at him after he picked up Phifer at his home. The man told police that Phifer took all his money and his cell phone before running away.
The man said Phifer had been a friend to him and his family for six years.
Police issued a warrant for Phifer's arrest on a felony armed robbery charge on Thursday morning. The North College Hill Police Department said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
