NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - North Las Vegas police are investigating three separate murders that occurred in less than 24 hours. Only one arrest has been made and police are asking for the public's help in solving the other two crimes.

Police say a man approached the victim and tried to rob him. He then shot the victim before fleeing the scene. Police have made no arrests and are not releasing the suspect's description.
Later that night, police were called to the Opera House Casino on North Las Vegas Blvd. near Carey, to investigate a robbery and shooting.
Officers found a 30-year-old man with life-threatening gunshot wounds in the casino. He was transported to University Medical Center where he later died.
Police say 21-year-old Stefon Clark was robbing victims in the casino's bathroom and for unknown reasons, shot the victim several times. Casino security subdued Clark and held him until officers arrived. He has been booked in the North Las Vegas Detention Center on charges of murder and robbery.
On Saturday afternoon, police were called to a fight on Putnam Avenue, near Civic Center. Officer found an 18-year-old man lying on the street with a gunshot wound. He was transported to UMC where he was pronounced dead.
Police say about 10 people were involved in a fight when one person pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The witnesses had all fled the scene before officers arrived and have not come forward offering information on the crime. Investigators are asking any witnesses to come forward. They say witnesses can remain anonymous.
These are the 11th, 12th and 13th murders this year in North Las Vegas.
