A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting outside the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma early Saturday.
Puyallup Tribal Police say surveillance video shows a man in a car confronting a couple with a gun before moving to the corner of the parking lot and firing 5 times into the air.
Officers say the driver then parked behind a man trying to leave the parking lot. When that man got out to confront the gunman, he was shot and killed.
FBI spokeswoman Ayn Dietrich said at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the suspect was traveling southbound on Interstate 5, when Oregon State Police stopped his vehicle and arrested him near Salem.
OSP also arrested a 25-year-old woman, who was in the car. Authorities recovered a weapon.
No information was released about the victim.
