(WHAS 11)—The Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana has closed the hotel as a precaution to flooding.
According to Lizzet Verdi, Marketing and Communications manager at Horseshoe Casino, the hotel has not flooded. However, due to the creek behind the hotel, once the water goes up, emergency vehicles could have issues accessing the hotel so they decided to close.
The casino, restaurants, and retail stores are opened.
