A shooting occurred Saturday night at the Hon-Dah Casino near Pinetop, and the shooter was killed, according to multiple reports.
Authorities from multiple agencies responded to the incident, and the casino was locked down at about 7:30 p.m., according to the White Mountain Independent newspaper's website.
As of 10:30 p.m., Saturday, the paper said there were three victims of the shooting, including the alleged shooter, who was killed.
The paper reported Travis Tessay, chief of the White Mountain Police Department, confirmed a police officer shot the alleged gunman.
The shooter injured a casino security guard and patron, but they are believed to be in stable condition, according to the paper.
The FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs are conducting a joint investigation into the shooting, according to a statement from the FBI.
