DAY TWO UPDATE: Sitting atop the leader board after Day 2 at the World Poker Tour® (WPT) No Limit Hold’em Main Event at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg is ClubWPT qualifer and amateur player Andy Whetstone with 334,400 chips.

Whetstone has a dominating chip lead over Shannon Shorr (250,900), a 25-year-old poker pro with more than $3.2 million in gross

earnings in his poker career. Other top pros among the 27 players remaining in the tournament are Eric Seidel (more than $14 million in career tournament earnings), Chris Bell, and Andy Frankenberger, the current WPT tour Season IX leader.

Action resumes today at 4 p.m. at the Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg WPT Poker Room.
