A lawsuit says the skimpy new outfits that cocktail waitresses at one Atlantic City casino must wear have cost 15 of them their jobs, because middle-aged and older servers didn't look sexy enough in them.

Resorts Casino Hotel is being sued by

seven of the fired waitresses. Several others are considering legal action.

Their union says the women were made to strip in front of female co-workers, told to squeeze into uniforms too small for them, and then photographed. A modeling agency was recruited to recommend who should go.

The new flapper costumes are part of Resorts' effort to rebrand itself in a roaring '20s theme after the popularity of "Boardwalk Empire." The casino says each worker was treated fairly and says the costumes are key to its business operations.
