Gamblers wagered $49.3 million on slot machines at Presque Isle Downs & Casino during the week of March 14-20.
The amount returned to them was $44.6 million, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported.

Of the gross revenue, nearly $2 million went to the state and more than $1.6 million to the casino.
During a comparable week in 2010, from March 15-21, gamblers wagered $44.4 million. The amount returned to them was $40.4 million.
The record for slots wagers in one week was $57 million, set during the week of July 5-11.
