Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. said Friday that its chief financial officer, Stephen H. Capp, will be leaving the casino operator at the end of the month to pursue other opportunities.

Capp, who also serves as executive vice president, has been at Pinnacle for eight years.
Pinnacle owns and runs seven casinos, located in Louisiana, Missouri, Indiana and Nevada. It also has a racetrack in Ohio.
The company is developing a casino in Baton Rouge, La., that is now scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2012. Last month, Pinnacle said it was delaying the opening of the $357 million property because of low Mississippi River levels.
