It’s been more than three months since four resorts made their cases to host a casino. But where the state’s last resort casino license will go is still up in the air.  Â

The board first planned to make a decision by early January but was gridlocked. All four members appointed by legislators and at least one of three appointed by the governor need to agree to award a license.

After Thursday, the board's next meeting is March 9.
Four sites are vying for the license, which allows up to 600 slots and 50 table games — Park Inn Harrisburg West in Hampden Twp. (the Holiday Inn until January), Mason-Dixon Resort and Casino near Gettysburg, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Fayette County and Fernwood Hotel and Resort in the Poconos.
