Bruno Mars has agreed to a plea in his drug case, Idolator reports. Last September, the singer was arrested in Las Vegas after he was confronted by Hard Rock Hotel and Casino security, and cocaine was reportedly found on him.
Instead of going through an extensive trial and potential jail time, like most people would have to do, Mars struck a deal with the courts. He will now pay a $2,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service. He also has to attend drug counseling.
If Mars is able to stay out of trouble for a full year, no conviction will remain on his record.
