LAS VEGAS, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars would have a Las Vegas felony cocaine conviction removed from his record if he stays out of trouble for 12 months, officials said.
He was arrested at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in September 2010 for allegedly doing drugs in a bathroom, the celebrity news
Mars' attorney apparently made a deal with the Clark County District Attorney's office, agreeing to a "deferred adjudication," sources told TMZ.
Attorney Blair Berk arranged a deal that has Mars performing 200 hours of community service. He will also undergo drug counseling.
If Mars stays out of trouble for one year, the felony charge will be erased, TMZ said.
