Lawyer Oldham Says He's Acting on Behalf of Stanley Ho Amid Share Dispute - Bloomberg

Gordon Oldham, the lawyer representing Stanley Ho, said he’s proceeding with the Macau casino magnate’s instructions to recover assets appropriated by Ho’s family.

Oldham said he hasn’t heard from Ho since members of the family issued

statements claiming the dispute was settled and that Oldham would be fired as Stanley’s lawyer.

“I do not anticipate my instructions will change,” Oldham said. “I do not put a lot of weight on a statement issued at midnight by the third mistress who obviously has $1 billion in assets to lose as a result of this. We’re continuing with the legal action.”

Oldham said there’s still a possibility the family will get together to resolve the dispute.
