Four public hearings will be held in November on the remaining "resort casino" license to be awarded in Pennsylvania, the state's Gaming Control Board announced today.

The applicants are:
Mason-Dixon Resorts L.P., to be at the Eisenhower Hotel, Conference Center and Resort in Cumberland Township, Adams County;
Woodlands Fayette L.L.C., to be at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Wharton Township, Fayette County;
Penn Harris Gaming L.P., to be at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg West, Hampden Township, Cumberland County; and
Bushkill Group Inc., to be at the Fernwood Hotel and Resort, Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County.
The Valley Forge Resort Casino was awarded a similar, Category 3, license in April 2009, but that action has been appealed by Greenwood Gaming, operator of the Parx Casino in Bensalem. Â Â Â - Roslyn Rudolph
