CHANDLER, AZ - A Valley woman is going into the new year a big winner after hitting the jackpot at a Chandler casino Sunday.
Tina Rosell said she visits the Lone Butte Casino about twice a month for fun, usually playing the slots and enjoying the facility's relaxing atmosphere.
"I play for fun, but hoping to win," Rosell said.
And win she did.
Rosell took home $739,518
"I started out the new year winning a wonderful jackpot," she exclaimed.
When asked what she's going to do with her big winnings, Rosell said she has simple things planned.
"First of all I'll go to church and give thanks to the Lord," she said.
Mostly, Rosell is thankful for what the money means to someone her age.
"For my age especially you need security," she said.
