Jr. was arrested on Thursday night in Las Vegas, where he lives, after a warrant was issued for an alleged assault of a security guard. TMZ reported that Mayweather was at a casino on the strip when a security guard recognized him and called Las Vegas police.

But the Associated Press has reported that Mayweather has been freed from jail.

Mayweather's attorney, Richard Wright, told the Associated Press that the fighter has a Tuesday court date. If convicted, Mayweather faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $ 1,000 fine.

FanHouse stopped by a local boxing gym in California to get reaction from fighters and trainers to Mayweather's situation.
