Heading to a casino? Check out their capacity, schedule

Bay State casinos and gambling establishments are up and running, some on reduced schedules and all with reduced capacity. Here’s a run-down of where they are at as of now:

Encore Boston Harbor: (encorebostonharbor.com) Now open  24/7, the Encore is at 40% capacity, but given their size, have yet to reach that total any night.

Their hotel and spa are open only Thursday – Sunday night (Monday morning check out).

Mask requirements stipulate they are worn at all times other than when seated at a table or game and actively consuming food or drink.

Most of their games are running, other than poker, with special shields designed for games like roulette and blackjack.

Their center bar and night club are closed; you can only consume food at tables and beverages with food or while actively gambling. Carrying drinks around the casino floor is forbidden.

The hotel is fully open, as is the Spa, Salon and Fitness Center.

Many — but not all — restaurants are open with some limited hours.

MGM Springfield: (mgmspringfield.mgmresorts.com/en.html) While the hotel and spa remain closed, the casino is up and running seven days a week and 24 hours a day with restrictions.

Slots are operating with a six-foot distance between operating machines.

Beverages are served only to those actively playing games or dining; there is no carrying food or drink around the floor.

While not all food spots are open, there is a variety. In the South End Market, you’ll find four choices: Wicked Noodles, Jack’s Lobster Shack, Bill’s Diner and Gelato & Espresso.

They’ve also opened the Chandler Steakhouse and TAP sports bar. Reservations are suggested.

Plainridge Park Casino: (plainridgeparkcasino.com) The Park Casino is open 24 hours, seven days a week with limited slots, six-foot distancing, a mask requirement and some other restrictions.

Alcohol is only served from 8 to 12:30 a.m.

Five restaurants are open, including Slack’s Oyster House & Grill, Friday through Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.; Dunkin’, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily; Smashburger, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily; Slice, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily; and Grab & Game, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.

Their first-floor simulcast racing is open and running again, as is the Shopping Station.
