Controversial casino set to open its doors Monday - WLBT-TV

SANDERSVILLE, MS (WLBT)- The controversial  Bok Homa Casino is set to open its doors Monday. The casino was built on tribal land in Sandersville, north of Laurel. The casino is operated by Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

It will have more than 700 slot machines, quick-serve eatery, and electronic table games. Some religious groups and Mississippi political leaders have

opposed the development of another casino in Mississippi.
