Officials say gambling was briefly halted at an Atlantic City, N.J., casino when a fire damaged part of the

building.

The blaze broke out on the sixth floor of the Tropicana Casino and Resort just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

No injuries were reported. The casino floor was evacuated for about 20 minutes.

Fire Chief Dennis Brooks told The Press of Atlantic City that the fire apparently started in an outdoor planter and burned through the facade and into a wall. He says the investigation is ongoing.

The blaze was brought under control in about 40 minutes. It caused an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in damage.
