Every year, casino operators flock to conferences to see the latest and greatest technology they can add to their properties. Some products are aimed at elevating the guest experience others are to protect their investments.

The coronavirus pandemic has amplified that trend. Over the past year, we’ve watched as casinos have embraced new devices for checking temperatures and touchless and cashless innovations are starting to appear, too.

Fertitta Entertainment, Inc., owner of Golden Nugget and Landry’s, is set to go public following a merger with FAST Acquisition Corp valued at $6.6 billion. The company had been publicly traded for 17 years until owner Tilman Fertitta took it private in 2010. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has more.
