The last few years have brought big construction projects to Southern California’s casinos. In that regard, 2020 wasn’t very different from prior years, but there was the added variable of coronavirus.
In some cases the pandemic didn’t affect projects much, but in others, it pushed back opening dates and construction timelines. We take a look at what happened in 2020 and what’s ahead this year. Read more.Â

Also in Las Vegas, Developer Lorenzo Doumani announced Monday that he plans to break ground on Majestic Las Vegas, a 720-room luxury hotel off the north strip, in July. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has more. Read more.Â
