The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way Southern California’s casinos operate, but nowhere is that more evident than at table games.

At many casinos, the table games have been modified with plexiglass dividers separating dealer and player; there are fewer player positions; and dealers are wiping down and sanitizing everything frequently. Read more.

Station Casinos is selling two vacant parcels of land, including one that had been earmarked for a casino project, as it contends with the impact that COVID-19 has had on the gaming industry, according to this article from the Reno Gazette-Journal. This follows another report from the Gazette-Journal that the company might permanently close some of its casinos.
