Though all of Southern California’s casinos are up and running, not everything is back online.

Many amenities such as pools, spas, buffets and other spaces where there are lots of touch points and possibilities of exposure to the novel coronavirus remain closed at multiple casinos.

Another space you can bank on being closed? Bingo halls. The bingo halls at the area’s tribal casinos have been closed because of the pandemic. One reader wanted to know when they might be coming back, so we asked. Read on to find out what the casinos had to say.

Beyond Southern California… 

Gilpin County, Colorado’s biggest gambling hub, plans to submit a proposal to the Colorado Department of Health and Environment on how it would safely resume table gaming during the coronavirus pandemic. The plan involves requiring players to use hand sanitizer immediately before touching cards, asking players to try refrain from handling cards “to the greatest extent possible” and having enough decks to swap out between uses. Colorado Public Radio has more.
