Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday in Over-the-Rhine. 

The incident took place around 2 a.m. near 12th and Sycamore streets. Bystanders outside of Jack Cincinnati Casino became startled after hearing shots fired and ran inside the casino. 

Casino officials say neither the suspect or anyone related to the incident entered the building. Diana Lara, the spokeswoman for the casino, said no one inside the casino was in danger.
