If you want to know what $10,000 tastes like in cocktail form, San Manuel Casino in Highland has an answer.

Mixologists Christopher Rosano and Joey Gottesman were on hand Thursday, Dec. 19, during the unveiling of the casino’s two new high limit rooms to make and show off the new drink, dubbed the “Rare and Fine.”

The drink comes with incredibly rare A.H. Hirsch 16 year reserve 1974 bourbon, barrel-aged vermouth made from a 100 point Bordeaux, house-made allspice bitters, orange peel, Luxardo cherry and a gold and diamond cocktail pick.

San Manuel, with its supply of ingredients, is able to make only 11 more of the cocktails.

Though the drink was displayed during the unveiling of the casino’s new High Limit Tables and High Limit Slots rooms, it can be ordered anywhere on property, including on the casino floor.

The high-priced cocktail isn’t San Manuel’s only drink offering that will set customers back thousands. Earlier this year the casino unveiled its Collection 86, filled with ultra rare whiskeys, bourbons, tequila and more. Tastes of some of the spirits are almost $3,000 each.
