Longueuil's D-BOX Technologies Inc., specializing in high-tech motion technology for the entertainment industry, said Thursday it has signed a multi-year development and sales pact with U.S.-based WMS Industries Inc., a leading maker and distributor of games and gaming machines.

D-Box's motion technology will be incorporated into future WMS products "enabling casino players to hear, see and feel

their gaming experience," said D-BOX's CEO Claude McMaster. WMS can maintain exclusive rights to the technology for casino gaming, subject to performance targets.

"This is our breakthrough into the casino gaming segment," he added, "and WMS's record of innovation aligns perfectly with our own vision. It also fits our strategy to expand outside our core commercial theatre applications to accelerate growth."
