SCHENECTADY, NY (WRGB)--Rivers Casino says the Monday night preview to its fireworks show was a huge success, and they expect to make it an annual tradition.

Tuesday the casino will shoot off more fireworks, and officials say it will be a much bigger show than Monday's

Casino officials say, they're glad to celebrate with the community.

"We put this all together to give appreciation to our guests, our team members, and the overall community. And just to say we're new here to Schenectady, here's some fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July with the community and the bicentennial of the Erie Canal," said Rivers Casino General Manager Mary Cheeks.

Tuesday night's fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.

The casino is urging people to use public transportation, since parking will be limited.
