BENSALEM, PA. — Police say they have arrested a man for leaving his children unattended while visiting a Philadelphia-area casino in the latest in a string of similar incidents.

Authorities last week charged 38-year-old Tan Truong, of Philadelphia, with

leaving his two daughters in a minivan while he celebrated his birthday last month at the Parx casino in Bensalem.

Investigators say the girls, ages 8 and 6, were left in the vehicle into the early morning hours. They were unharmed.

Truong's arrest is the sixth this year for a parent or caretaker who allegedly left a child unattended in the parking lot.

Truong is free on bail after being arraigned on child endangerment and public drunkenness charges. A phone listing for him could not immediately be located.
