N.J. woman cited for underage gambling at Sands Casino

A New Jersey woman has been cited with underage gambling after being found on the gaming floor at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem.

Rose Jacqueline Bach, 20, of South Plainfield, at 1:10 a.m. Sunday was found by Pennsylvania State Police at the casino, 77 Sands Blvd.

Pennsylvania casino regulators in August 2016 approved fines against the operator of Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem for three alleged incidents of visitors under age 21 on the gaming floor. Sands Bethworks Gaming LLC then faced fines totaling $39,000, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

In past years, underage gamblers found to have won jackpots had to also forfeit winnings and were evicted from the casino.
