Shooting on 47th floor of Atlantic City casino leaves teens wounded

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) --

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after shots were fired on the 47th floor of a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, leaving two 16-year-olds wounded.

Police were called to the Trump Taj Mahal Casino at 11:19 p.m. Thursday for a report of shots fired. Officers found a crime scene in the tower, but no victims.

However, police were later notified that a 16-year-old boy entered AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with an apparent gunshot wound.


Soon after, another 16-year-old came in with an apparent gunshot wound.

Their wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.

Officers found the 17-year-old, allegedly in possession of a handgun, in the unit block of S. Virginia Avenue.

Police say the investigation is not complete and more charges could be filed.
