Thunder Valley Casino named a new general manager today.

Dawn Clayton, a veteran of 31 years in the casino business, takes over management of the giant Lincoln casino immediately.

Clayton joined Thunder Valley in 2010 and has been acting general manager since February, when C.J. Graham left the casino. Graham departed "to spend more time with his family," said casino spokesman Doug Elmets.

Clayton previously worked in management at casinos in Indiana; Atlantic City, N.J.; and West Virginia.

"Dawn brings outstanding leadership to our Thunder Valley team," said Gene Whitehouse, chairman of Thunder Valley's owner, the United Auburn Indian Community.
