Bellator 41 took place Saturday night inside the Cocopah Resort and Casino in Somerton, Arizona. A pair of non-title “Super Fights” headlined the MTV2
Bellator welterweight champion Joe Warren defeated Ring of Combat featherweight title holder Marcos Galvao via unanimous decision in the card’s main event, while Bellator bantamweight champ Zack Makovsky posted a TKO victory over Chad Robichaux in the night’s co-featured contest.
“This season continues to produce outstanding fights, and tonight was no different,” said Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney. “Two of our Champions came away with victories, and Pitbull and Straus both earned well deserved trips to our featherweight final later this season on MTV 2 – which will make for an unbelievable championship fight.”
