Sacramento Kings part-time owner and owner of the Palms Casino Hotel in Las Vegas George Maloof was arrested and booked this past Saturday after he blew a blood alcohol level of .086, barely over the legal limit.  He was also driving with an expired license.

According to <a href="http://blogs.sacbee.com/crime/archives/2010/10/kings-part-owne.html" title="Sacbee"

target="_blank">Sacbee.com, Maloof was charged with a plethora of crimes including driving under the influence, speeding, making an illegal turn, driving without a valid license, and not having proof of insurance.

Maloof allegedly was driving home from a long day at the Palms, and he was texting the hotel when he was pulled over.

For Maloof, it's hard to believe the guy was driving to begin with.  He owns the Palms - there are limos and cabs in Vegas everywhere, if you're that rich (the Maloof Bros. net worth is estimated at $1 billion, according to Celebritynetworth.com), why even risk driving when you know there's always someone available to drive you?

Maloof's Kings have been involved in a rebuilding process for some time now.  They have a promising duo of youngsters of Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins, but finished just 25-57.
