ELIZABETH, IN (WAVE) - Horseshoe Casino and the nearby Pavilion in southern Indiana will re-open their doors Wednesday, March 16.
The Casino and Pavilion were forced to shut down due to the rising Ohio River, but officials now say they've been given permission to resume operations by the Army Corps of Engineers.

The National Weather Service has said it will be a slow process before things get back to normal along River Rd., with an early estimate has the river getting to around 23 feet, flood level on the upper gauge, by the third week of March.
